Modern Private Cottages

Saffron Guest House offers 12 individually decorated cottages surrounded by a landscaped garden. Each cottage includes a kitchenette with a microwave, tea-and-coffee making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The bright bedrooms are separated from the living area by a glass sliding door. Some rooms feature a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and stove, and a seating area with a satellite TV. Air conditioning, electric blankets, and flat-screen TVs are standard. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

Breakfast at Café

A complimentary English breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM at Café de la Crème, located steps away. The dining area can also be converted into a small conference room. Guests can enjoy tea, coffee, and snacks in the garden or on the covered deck.

Our room was comfortable and we loved the patio. The Melville neighborhood was a nice place to relax. The Spilt Milk Cafe nearby was fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating despite some unexpected changes during our stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Johannesburg!

My partner and I had a wonderful time! Gift, the receptionist, was incredibly cute and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and felt like home. The location in Melville was fantastic, with a great vibe and easy access to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good, although the bacon could have been better. The restaurant was amazing!
